I have no idea as I don't seem to have that problem on my desk top computer. Are you using a mobile device? I know a lot of web features don't work on mobile devices. I don't use the quick links as I go straight to the main page and look at any post the is lit up as being new. Send Mel an email (he rarely comes on the forum) and ask him if he knows the answer as he is the computer tech for the forum. I do know that the website is very unstable as I get bumped out regularly since the new upgrade. I'm just happy to still have the forum operational and try not to complain too much to Mel as as he is hosting it on his own server for free.

Yea, I just checked again and it was down already. I don't want to complain either, but the way it is set up, there is little point in new posts. And so it goes.

Strange! I made it a point to check "new post" in "quick links" when I came to the forum just now and this post was shown. But of course this is the only new post for today. Are you clicking on "quick links" then "new posts"?

Is anyone else having the same problem as Bob?

Although Bob didn't see this thread in "New Posts", I could. I marked "Forms Read" and logged out. When I logged back in and checked "New Posts" in
"Quick Links" there were none. But I still see it in "Active Topics".

It appears to me that "New Posts" is user specific based on posts made since the last time the user logged in.

Personally, I use "Unread Posts"...

Are all headstocks black? Cant wait to see more pics!

Logged on this morning and it is up! I click on quick links and then new posts. It seems it only stays in new links for less than a day. Anyway, I am glad to see it is up this morning.

Yes, only the sunburst will have the black headstock face, all other colors are natural maple. Hence 1965.
