A matched set of Hallmarks...?

Postby Strat-o-rama » Tue Aug 30, 2016 5:41 am

Hard to tell for sure in the video, but last weekend The Nebulas played at the Asbury Park Surf Music Festival with what looks like a matching set of Hallmarks: bass, and a pair of '63 sidejacks in "greenburst". The video is not perfect, but gives you the gist of how these guys kicked ash.

Thanks FritzCat. I wasn't sure, except the tremolos looked like Hallmark in the not-so-sharp video, and i know Bob does all kinds of custom work. Thanks for the clarification. Totally missed that thread years ago.

Yes, you are correct, those are Hallmark tailpieces. They got in touch with me after they received the guitars from M3 and purchased my trems. They said the M3 Vibrato was staying in tune for some reason.

Best, Bob
