Just finished up a special order for a new customer. It is a 65 Custom in gloss black with all black appointments and a clear maple neck.

Included is a pic of our tight neck joint. This was one of the many areas I set out to improve from the vintage models.

As Mick would say, paint it black!

The more I see of those 65 customs, more I think I like them best. I love the natural finished neck and headstock, and the unbound body just looks more elegant in its simplicity. Less is More.

If you don't mind telling, how much more does it cost to have one made like this one?
