My Hallmark collection GROWS!!!!!

Yep....picked up a 60 Custom in Surf Pearl!!!
So, pretty. It'll make a great companion to my Hallmark II. Can't wait to get it!

Now, to get a Deke and my perfect Hallmark "trifecta" will be complete.

Surf Pearl is such a cool color! I've got one myself and it looks great. I got it a couple of years ago when Surf Pearl was introduced--initially I'd ordered a sunburst one, but after I saw a pic of Surf Pearl, I had to have it. Bob Shade was nice enough to change the order for me--I wound up having to wait a few weeks to get it as he was out of cases at the time! Great guy to deal with.
I really like the triple binding on the new ones--mine's got the older single-layer binding. Still looks cool, though!

Can't tell from the pics whether it has the triple binding or not.
It does have the fret wire nut, which I believe is on the newer ones.

Good lord this guitar is awesome!

Fit, finish, looks and sound. The whole package.
The Surf Pearl finish is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Neck is a dream, low, low action.
I haven't had a chance to put it through its paces yet, but I plugged it in for a bit, and MAN what a sound.
It'll definitely do surf sounds, but it's capable of so much more. Can't wait to try it next week at practice.
