Man, that's a fine looking guitar!

Just a warning... You may need to have a receiving line at your next show, because the guitar players are drawn like flies to anything that isn't the usual Gibson-Fender-PRS-Gretsch. When you come offstage, they'll be waiting.
When they see that bad boy, they'll start thinking about that Slash LP they just shelled out five grand for, and they'll be confused, frightened.
Think about a clean amp. Those pickups are so heavily wound that they make an Acoustasonic sound like an AC-30.
And don't forget your Thomastik Infeld flatwounds!

Twango,
Thanks. I play through a '71 Band Master head and 2X12 cabinet, with a Gomez G-spring tank. I have the Thomastiks on my Jazzmaster, and went with DAddario chromes 11-52 because Bob had said somebody used them and it sounded fantastic. I just wrote and recorded a tune I put under a different thread where I use this guitar exclusively, called Low Hangs the Moon at http://www.reverbnation.com/shootthepier. It opens playing through an Ashbass Fuzzbrite. Loads of fun.

That may have been me. I am a flatwound-string fancier, and took my guitars loaded that way to Bob's Worldwide Headquarters and he seemed to like them.
On my '67 Mosrite Celebrity, I use those; on the two Hallmarks and the '72 Celebrity I changed to D'Addario ECG23 Chrome Extra Light Electric Guitar Strings (.010/.048).
Both types of strings are great! Thomastik flatwounds are splendid strings, too!
