Hey 60 Customers (well hopefully),

The Surf Pearl is an exclusive color to the 60 Custom at this time. We will have a very limited supply in this finish. We will post pictures in a few weeks when the guitar is complete and ready for sale. Till then, keep surfin!

Wow, Bob--that Surf Pearl sounds really cool. I'm hoping to be able to afford a 60 Custom after the first of the year, although my FX unit died at my gig last weekend and I'm not sure what I'm going to replace it with yet--darn programmable things anyway! I may just keep on running a volume pedal in my amp's FX loop and using the amp's reverb and channel-switching like I had to do on the gig, and taking the money I would have spent on a new FX unit and putting it toward a 60 Custom instead. I've been leaning toward the 3-tone sunburst, but the Surf Pearl sounds awfully tempting. What color will the pickguard and pickups be? I'm picturing a white pickguard and black pickups...

You are correct Sir! We are going for the classic look! White 3 ply guard and black pickups! The headstock will be Surf Pearl too!

Now where is that board wax? Will meet you at Diamond Head!

That sounds like a great color - Looking forward to it. Are you all still doing custom paint jobs? I'm interested in one of those "planetary" schemes I've seen pop up before. If so, maybe shoot me a pm for pricing.

The latest chapter in the history of Hallmark Guitars; after almost 4 months of waiting, the finally came on January 11, 2010 when the forum member GTSP (GunTotingSkatePunk) received his Sheena model. The rest of his work day was very unproductive.

The first few hours were really cool. It sounds crisp & sharp, is a really great weight, the neck is perfect. I like it much more than my Fillmore Ramones model.

Congrats to Bob on a revamped website. Easy to use and looks good! If you haven't visited the Hallmark site recently, check it out.

I just checked it out, looks great.

Does Hallmark have any plans on expanding their selection of bass guitars? Looks like they have only the swept wing bass. It'd be pretty cool to have a '60 custom bass.

~sidebar~that '59 custom is just gorgeous
