While we're on the subject of cases, does anyone know if there's a flight case on the market that would be a good fit for a 60 Custom? Does SKB make one that'd do the trick?

Doesn't Anvil do strictly custom cases? I thought maybe there was something readily available. You know, something that'll ship quickly and won't break the bank. ;)

Theres a Company out of New Jersey that makes all kind of case they might have one that you could cut the foam to size. These aren't as heavy duty as Anvil but I have one and they're better than a hardshell. Look on Ebay and contact the company with the inside dimension you need. Oh and the price is usually in the $100-$200 range.

Another thought is that you can look for a Used Keyboard case.

What about those 'universal' coffin cases? Of course a swept-wing or wing-bat might look better emerging from one of those, but do you think it would accommodate a 60 Custom?

Those coffin cases aren't flight cases. If you just want a case for the 60 C, contact Bob Shade at Hallmark. Or you can get one from Artie @ Front Porch.

Thanks for the help, lads. By my calculations the coffin would be too narrow and the Hybrid is out of my budget.

The only reason I'm asking is that I ordered my 60 C a while ago, I'm waiting for Bob to get cases and I'm getting antsy. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't even be considering alternatives.
