Re: 59 Custom
Considering Hallmark will have a booth at Deke's Guitar Geek Festival, all the lucky stiffs attending will very likely get to see it in advance, along with other cool stuff coming from Hallmark. Hopefully, some of those lucky individuals will take pictures. I would guess a visit to the Hallmark website a week or so after the Festival should also have some interesting stuff in the News section.

vibramute,
Go over to our Members and Gigs section under Dekes Geek Fest. Jonny posted a photo of one with Bill Gruggett holding it.
Short story is it is not ready for release yet.

Re: 59 Custom
Same here, Dennis. Have already begun paving the way for a '59 Custom in my arsenal. I don't think that was the prototype Mr Gruggett was holding, but a special order for a customer--more of a 60 Custom Sidejack. Jonny said they were still finalizing details on the '59.

Hey All!!
We are off to Chicago in a couple of hours. The 59 Custom will be similar to the picture with Mr. Gruggett. The difference will be the early tailpiece with flip mute, and the neck angle will have to be different to accomidate the flip mute bridge.

Re: 59 Custom
Hey All,
We have been working feverishly on the 59 custom!! It is becoming obvious to me, Hillbilly engineering is hard to replicate!! We are almost done, and within the month, we should have pictures of the 59 Custom ready! Everything has to be done in the 59 style and it takes time to replicate it. We are almost making all the same mistakes Semie made which brings us closer to the original. Pix soon! In also have some cool pictures from Front Porch Music I need to post soon.
