Is it just me or does that white guitar with the MOP pickguard say "Gospel" on the headstock? I think Fillmore had rights to the Gospel name; they make a Gospel branded Mark V.
The 59 Custom looks really sharp and the new hard case looks much more robust than the old ones. Who makes these?

Re: Hallmark Owner's Corner!
Those are both gorgeous! The black headstock face and thick binding on the 59 really set it off. And wouldn't a tortoiseshell pickguard look great on it! For that matter, the pearl white 60 would look really cool with a tortoise guard AND pickup covers, and white pickup rings, although the blue pearloid covers look cool too--I didn't know those were available, or I'd have gotten them on my Surf Pearl 60, and maybe a blue pearloid pickguard too!
Sarah--"MOP" is mother-of-pearl.

Thanks! I was thinking, hmmm, dust MOP, sponge MOP, rag MOP, or in my case; severe bed-head in the morning.

Re: Hallmark Owner's Corner!
WOW!!! Great shots Mr. Shade. First of all, that MOP guard is beautiful. I may have to get a note to Hallmark to inquire about pricing and availability. Second, that gold hardware turns the C60 into the Rolex of the guitar world.
Man, if I had been aware of those options a year ago when I ordered my sunburst, I might still be trying to decide what to specify. I also noticed that you have started putting the Hallmark logo on the case. Great Idea, although when I show up to practice with the alligator case, everybody knows what coming anyway.
Thanks again for such an incredible instrument. I have to think that Semie is looking over your shoulder. And smiling.

Re: Hallmark Owner's Corner!
I just saw the pictures of the two Hallmarks on page 18, They're beautiful. I love the cream finish, the binding and the carve on the 59 and I love the pickup covers on the 60.
Edit: I just noticed the headstocks. Both are beautiful!

Re: Hallmark Owner's Corner!
Hello Mel, thank you for the inquiry!
Hallmark Guitars is the owner of the Gospel trademark. These are high end models with our in house handwound pickups and deluxe appointments. We have been offering these for a long time. It has been by special order only. We did show them at NAMM to get reactions this year as well. Expect more models and options on these and as you all know for an upcharge we can do about anything for you.
Best regards, Bob

Cool, I didn't realize Hallmark owns the Gospel name. Good to put it to use then!
