I made this by laminating two thicknesses of 3/8" and 1/8" plywood. Laminated because the top layer is cut out for each indiviual pedal to sit down into it, and the bottom laminate is so the pedals doesn't fall through. It's covered in tolex. I have an aluminum flight case that everything fits in for transportation. I don't use it in my surf band. It's great for when I was playing Blues or Country.

Hey--

I built my first pedalboard this year, and must have looked at hundreds of them on the Web. That's the first I've seen with Tolex, and with the pedal cutouts. Very classy and purposeful. I also like the selection of pedals.

Those 1/4" pedal-to-pedal connectors are nifty; I may order some for my next board iteration in place of those 6" cables.

Today I received an eBay-bought Boss TU-12H tuner, to replace the footpedal-type Boss TU-2 tuner on my board. I got this TU-12H tuner because it's the same one that Scotty Moore has on his pedal board, and I like the old VU meters.

I use my board on top of my amp, or on a nearby table, so that's a bit different than most folks do it.

Here's a link to a pedal board maker that I make the cabinets for. Take look, he puts in a power supply, true bypass, etc. Very nice product in a very nice enclosure(patting myself on the back)!
