"Up for sale, a 1973 Mosrite Stereo 350 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. An instrument as distinct and unique in its time as Semie Moseley's Ventures Model guitars of a decade earlier, the Stereo 350 features pickups that each have their own dedicated 1/4" output jack. Functional in a standard mono configuration as well, the pickups are a rare Mosrite humbucker variant of their powerful, overwound coil design, pairing well with the solid mahogany construction of the 350. Warm, rich, and featuring a touch of growl, the humbuckers offer more natural warmth and fullness in the neck position, while the bridge pickup is placed close enough to the brass bridge saddles to have a distinctive top end snarl. The guitar weighs 9lbs 5oz. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this Mosrite is dialed in with 11-50 roundwound strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The one-piece mahogany neck has a unique profile carve, measuring .890" deep at the 1st fret and actually growing more slender as you travel up the bound rosewood fretboard to .825" at the 12th. The original medium jumbo frets are intact with fairly flat crowns and uniform wear on frets 1-5, with lighter wear beneath the G and B strings extending up the majority of the fretboard. The scale length is a full 24 3/4", and the fretboard measures 1 3/4" wide at the zero fret just forward of the original aluminum nut. The headstock retains the classic Mosrite "M" carve on the top edge, and the original set of Kluson Deluxe double line tuners are intact.

All of the electronics work as intended with original pots and untouched solder, featuring dedicated Volume and Tone knobs for each pickup, a conventional three-way pickup selector switch, and a two-way Mono/Stereo toggle. The original bridge is intact, and the strings anchor into a block constructed of aluminum and rosewood. The Stereo 350 model and its bass counterpart featured a variety of knob sets, with Mosrite's M knobs, barrel knobs, and the black witch hats seen here all used over the model's 1971-75 production run. Cosmetic wear includes two large finish chips, one on the treble side lower bout edge, and the other on the back of the treble side body cutaway, along with a few smaller marks on the slab body edges. The neck profile is notably clean.

A hardshell case is included."
