This is an original ventures of california model Mosrite bass. I bought this at Black Market music in Los Angeles in 2001, it has never left my studio since i bought it. it is a great gritty rockin' bass for recording or live. it also has that mellow 60's vibe once you put flat wound strings on it. i would compare the tone to a p-bass or t-bird but the neck is not as wide so its super easy to jam on! this bass is a players bass not a museum piece. i have the case that i bought with it but its in storage at the moment. not sure if that is original. but the case is hard shell and it good condition. the serial number is 7136. i believe i have the bridge guard still searching for it. this is a rear bass and the value will only increase no matter which way the stock market goes!!! haha serious inquiries only! lets make a deal!!

make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

I'd only be interested if it has a bowed neck.
