Hi All,
It's been some time since I last posted, but I wanted to let you know I now have a NEW original song, Secret Surfer.
It is a tribute to my favorite group - The Ventures. You can hear it on my new website
http://www.johndrysdalemusic.com and
http://johndrysdalesurfguitar.comI wrote and recorded it myself and played my new Hallmark 60 Custom exclusively for all guitar parts. Thanks, Bob!
BTW, this song will appear on a compilation CD of a collection of different musical styles due to release around the October timeframe. Stay tuned!
Feel free to share your thoughts and comments here and on my website if you'd like.
Enjoy!

Very nice, John. Nice gears too!
We are in process of selling our old house and moving out of state, all my surf CD's are already in the new home. My wife and I are so stressed out cleaning the house. it is nice and relaxing to take a rest and listen to your "Secret Surfer"

Thank you for your kind words, Jim, Vincent!
Glad you guys enjoyed my song and that it can be a stress-buster for your move, Vincent. I'll be playing it at the upcoming Venture's Fan Fest in October.
Surf may be "dormant" in The First State, but it's time to wake up Delaware and come out of your hibernation!

Nicely done John! Makes me want to head to the sand and waves!
You got a great tone with the Hallmark, I really appreciate you sharing the clip.
Pass the sunscreen!

Hi, John: Did you play at Fan Jam before? I look forward to watching you play at Philly Ventures Fan Jam in October. But I am not sure that I can go this year because of the house sale and the moving, (and it is a long drive from Chicago to Philly).
I have attended this wonderful event in the last two years and had truly enjoyed the great experience. (and met with many great people there)
Have fun and a great show at Fan Jam!

Yes, I played there last year for the first time.
I played my Jerry Jones baby sitar on Kyoto Doll/Paint It Black and Music To Watch Girls By.
Also, did California Dreamin, jammed with Bob Spalding on Green Onions...sat in (or rather stood in) on the group effort of Hawaii Five-O...
Were you there as well?

Hey Vincent,
I just reviewed the videos from Fan Fest 2012 and now I remember seeing and hearing you. Very nice playing and I love your Strat!
Yes, the "pretty lady" is my wife.
Too bad I didn't know you were from the Mosrite Forum! I should have worn a name tag: "Member of Mosrite and SG101 Forums!"
If we had known we would have invited you over to our table.
If not this year, maybe next year?
