Gang - the main issue is finding the right venue, with depends on how many people we expect and if we're hanging out and showing off guitars or expecting to plug in and make a racket. Thoughts?

Well, I guess the right answer would be to take a headcount - I am definitely in, although I travel a week + a month for work.
