The Bedlamville Triflers - Lousiana Rockabilly Band

Postby TriflerShawn » Fri Jul 27, 2012 8:31 am

Hey gang.....newbie here.
Thought I'd post a little something about my band.

I play in a rockabilly trio here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
We play a mix of originals and select covers. We try to cover some of the tunes of the Louisiana based rockabilly cats from the 50's and early 60's.
We've been together about 3 years. Enjoying pretty good success. We're are working stiffs, and mainly have the band from our stress relief.
That being said, we work at it like we're a national touring band!

Anyhow...here's our Reverbnation site. Need to get off my butt and get a real site done.
Also if you want to hear our album, it's up streaming on Bandcamp. :D
If you'd like to purchase our album, it's on iTunes, CdBaby etc........

Glad to be here on the forum. No Mosrites or Mosrite clones were used on the cd, but I hope to have something Mosritey soon!

You guys are really great! You sound like the ultimate club band. Let me know if you ever make it to the DC area, I will be there!

I really like your lp cover too! Really cool.

Thanks Bob!

See now why a Deke would be a great fit for me?? :D

Baby steps though.....I'll start with that Hallmark II for now...

The album cover was taken at one of out gigs. That's a club called Phil Brady's here in Baton Rouge.
That car belongs to a really good friend of the band. Can't remember what is is exactly...a Plymouth, IIRC.
