Ventures project

Postby Nokie » Fri Aug 05, 2011 5:51 pm

I just put up for listening my "one man band" covering of an entire Ventures album. I'm posting it here because the original album (and my cover of it) was pre-Mosrite. It can be heard at the following link:

Thanks for listening!

Marty, you already know my reaction on the UF2 Forum.

Did I say that my favorite track is MR. MOTO? I particularly love your 'embellishments' on this first track! 8-)

This is how the inside & front cover turned out on my copy! I made the rear cover the same as the inside cover (with your photo). I’m one proud owner, thanks again!

Sweet job, that's a nice project!

"Dance Party" was one of the first Ventures albums that I got, and still a favorite (always thought Lolita Ya-Ya was kind of annoying - but your version was more fun :D )
This concludes my report from outer space. Now, back to studio!

Great job, Marty!

Love your Album notes which is very helpful. Thanks for taking time to write out all details.

PS. The cover brings back old memories.... I had a white Vespa 40 years ago.

Thanks Vincent. With gas prices as they are now, I'm wishin' I had a white Vespa! Writing out the details was part of the fun. -Marty

Thanks! Did you get that album when it came out? I'll tell ya, I had a very difficult time finding a copy in the '80's. -Marty
