Hello!
Here are my two Mosrites in action at a gig we did for New Year's Eve in Downtown Buffalo, NY.
(Bass player used my Mosrite bass most of the night) (His Kay bass was very nice too!)

It was a fun night! Thanks!

Gary, the 70s Mo' Bass makes a nice matched set with the six-banger...... .
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

Great pictures! I'd love to see the Guild up close. What model is it? Is there a red Spectrasonic behind the middle guy?

Dennis, yeah I thought the bass and sixer go together well too! Now if I could only play them both at the same time....
Thanks Sarah!
The Guild is a Starfire, I forget the year, '60's.
(Sorry for the blurry picture!)
I think the "red" guitar you are asking about is my friend Michael's Guild.
The other, less Mosrite-like guitars that night was '57 Fender reissue Strat, Taylor acoustic, Guild Starfire and the Kay bass.
Thanks Sarah!

Cool picture Gary ...and that '57 reissue Strat ain't half bad either, I'll bet. I'm still very happy with the USA one I bought new last year and have found no need to mod any part of it

We will have to retire! Not enough time in the day for work then!

Thanks Veenture! My Strat is a really good playing/workhorse import from the '80s. I have done mods to it, a Tele pick-up in the bridge position and a phase switch. I put Bill Lawrence's L-48TL Single Coil Size Humbucker for Tele Bridge into my Tele...aside from the Mosrite pick-ups, this is the best pick-up I have ever heard. The Telecaster (1971) was already stripped and changed when I got it. At the time I got my Tele, my Uncle had a 1955 Fender Esquire that, like most people of that time I think, he had changed his Esquire and added the extra pick-up, making it a Tele. I had never herd what a true Esquire sounded like, so I decided to rewire my Tele to an Esquire. Long story long, It was great but the neck position on the switch (not pick-up, only one pick-up) was very muddy. So I did tweak that and now my EsTele is one of my best sounding and playing guitars.
Bill Lawrence was living in Allentown, PA at the time I did this change. I called him and asked if he could make the pick-up he had designed for Danny Gatton, but never produced. He said "shure!" and the pick-up you see is the first one! He sells them now (but not in white)

Hey Gary, feel at home, nice story! Sound is so personal...as long as one is happy with what one has and sometimes it can take years to 'find' it
