This past Friday, Meshugga Beach Party had the pleasure of playing the Hubba Hubba Revue Burlesque Holiday Spectacular for the third year. Always a rocking show, and suffice it to say that we were wearing more clothes than the rest of the performers combined.

Mel, those photographs are really excellent quality stuff, especially the 3rd. pic with the audience; excellent composition too (almost like a painting)!

Who's Santa?

You're right Paul, definitely meshugga!

Santa is Ferenc Dobronyi, Karen's husband, leader of surf band Pollo Del Mar, former bandmate of mine in The Mach IV, and one of the original Meshuggeners.

The photos are really good - these two photographers were taking pictures of acts all night. Well, almost all night - apparently Pat McCarthy, who took the bottom photo, fell off a riser taking photos of one of the burlesque acts. I guess he was a little distracted by the subject of his photography!

Mel's new moniker is Beauty Gig.
