Very first Gig with my 8 year old Son!

What a weekend... No words to describe so I thought I would just share it with you guys. He started formal lessons two months ago, and this was his very first public performance, and I got to play with him. There is a link to a couple video's directly below the picture if you wish to listen...

on the guitar when he turns 15!!

yeah, I will be asking him "how do you do that?" before long... Oh, and Shhhhh, but he has a Gibson Gold Top Les Paul with a Bigsby B7 under the tree
he can't have my M88 til I am gone...

That is so very nice LewdDude, you have a nice kid! Mine started out taking lessons at about the same age as yours but he never continued after age 13, unfortunately. I have some nice photo's of him playing but won't hijack your thread with them. Great memories though and your video's are excellent

Here is a pic of what is under the tree for him... Oh and it has some serious twang, and through a twin reverb or princeton it's quite the guitar!

Well he loves my les paul, and that is what he wants. The price was right on these bad boys! I paid $799 brand new at Alto Music in Poughkeepsie NY! I ordered it in May, and got it in November. Here are some pics of mine(not the $799 version...lol) It's a Custom Shop Historic 1956 Ebony Top. I know it's not a Mosrite, but it's a Killer guitar!
