Don't worry about it!!!

I don't need it, as I like those black replacements on that guitar. I am looking for one for the 1967 Celebrity II I recently got, but they are probably not interchangeable.

I've seen single-ply replacements on eBay but don't know if they are nice or not. No biggie either way!!!

The pickguards are shaped differently between your CE-II and CE-III. Personally I wouldn't put a single ply on my guitar. If you would like a W-B-W or tortoise multlayered one I can make one for you. I've made the templates for quite a few of the shapes and have to finish the one I started for Nate.

This goes for anyone else who wants to have an exact replacement or even a custom shape. :D

Sarah, that is good to know. Can you say a ballpark price for the BWB or tortoiseshell pickguards?

Thanks as always--

Jim, just a ball park figure, for forum members I'll keep it to a minimu. I will likely charge a bit more on my website. The pickguards and control plates for Celebrities would be about $10 each for a W/B/W. The tortoise material is "tortoise/mint/black/mint". The pickguards and control plates would be about $15 each.

There are other pickguard materials available, such as B/W/B; B/W/B/W/B, 50's style B/W/B/W/B; Pearloid/W/B/M, if someone wanted a more custom look. Eventually, I'd like to offer correct replacements for all of the Mosrite models. A lot of the solid body models have really big pickguards so naturally they use a lot more material. I've also designed about a dozen shapes for sweatguards if someone wanted to do that look on their guitar. I've seen one Celebrity that had one and it looked great. I know Semie put them on many Mosrite guitars.

Sarah,
If the Tsunami Surfers ever do a video featuring themselves, you should outfit them with Celebrities.

Looks like we are now getting an area set up for the band. We should have more songs posted this weekend.

Go "Mr. Moto"!
I'm impressed, Danny. The Tsunami Surfers have nailed that early Ventures sound to a T. My compliments 'dude' ;)
