Wow....going to be a great show Deke.
Question....are you selling pre-sale tickets? Or just plan on getting to Burbank early?

Looking forward to it.

Saw the San Francisco show at the Rickshaw tonight...
FANTASTIC!!!
Deke thanks for creating such a memorable show!
Personal faves of the evening...."House of the Rising Sun" and "Ghost Riders in the Sky" featured some amazing picking from Nokie....jawdropping, inspirational. Such a thrill to see/hear the man weave his magic in person.

multiple songs about bees....

and need I say (I gotta say) the whole night was a total tonefest.

I agree - great show! Here are a couple of (blurry) pics. All was good except for the fat headed jerk in the front row who kept sticking his camera in the players faces or high over his head, blocking the view and was generally making a nuisance of himself.

Thanks for that Mel. Looking at the first pic shook me a little at first; the player second from the right looks a lot like Ventures' Bob Bogle (r.i.p.)

I hadn't noticed, but you're right. That's Garrett Immell, who also plays guitar in The Ghastly Ones and played bass in Deke's Ramones tribute act at the last Guitar Geek Festival.

Since the pics are blurry, I'll point out that all three guys are playing sidejacks. Mel Bergmann's bass is a really early one, with the wood string guide. I'm not sure of the provenence of the guitars. I did notice that when they played Caravan, Mel switched to a Hallmark Sweptwing to take the abuse of the Taylor/Bogle drum/bass routine.

The tone was great all around, but what really stood out to me was how much attack the bass had, even with the single pickup. Maybe it's the Mosrite/Showman combination, but it was impressive.
