Dubtrub at the Blues jam

Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend Deke's Guitar Fest, and since today was my 64th birthday and all family plans had changed in the past couple of weeks, I decided to try something different. Trout's Cocktail lounge, world famous for the Bakersfield Country sound hosts a Blues jam twice a month. I just learned about the jam yesterday, so I headed out with my guitar. Sorry guy's, when I play Blues music I'm much more comfortable with a Strat. So forgive me for not playing one of my custom Mosrite clones, but I did have a great time jamming with some darn good blues musicians. I played for an hour and a half while they rotated various singers and musicians on and off the set. Fortunately I was familiar with about 99% of the songs as I am a blues fanatic. My wife took these action photo's with her iPhone so they aren't very clear. This is the same tavern where Bill Gruggett's benefit concert was held last May which featured Deke Dickerson and Brian Lonbeck. Lot's of history to Trout's Tavern.

Okay, I see a handsome guy playing a Strat, but where is Danny?!?!?
Happy Birthday! Mine was Thursday and was number 58. I figure I am at the halfway point in my life if I can reach my lifespan goal of 116.
To help get me there, I am going to quit smoking and drinking when I am 107.

That's a parts-0-caster I built back in '93 using a feather light body and a flame maple neck. I just installed a set of Fender Noiseless Vintage pup's a couple of weeks ago. Besides my original Mosrites and custom clones, I have several Strats and a couple Jazzmasters, depending on the genre I'm playing. Still got to get a Tele to add to the arsenal. And....................maybe a 335 and a LP and a..............
