In the 60's, my band entered one of those talent contests and lost too. We got a 6 inch trophy for participation. A few years later, my younger brother's band won a battle of the bands and won a 4 foot trophy. The first thing he did was take a picture of himself with both trophies. Ugh.

It was in Portland, OR. I haven't looked to see if it's online, given that a still photo pretty much covers what there was to see.

Talent shows are invariably about other factors besides talent. Regardless, we had a blast!

They have the last 5 episodes or so. I watched through the first one which was LA. Did you see the one you were in, was there more than just that photo like a taste of music on tv? Pretty cool though that you made it on!
