Does this mean we are going to get to see pix of it in action? Some sound bites would be a treat also.

Well, I'll personally be a bit pre-occupied to take pictures or video during our set, but I'll see what I can do.

Mel, have great shows this weekend!
Too bad that you are not playing in Vegas as I will be there this weekend. I guess I will go to Ed Roman's to see good old Ed... maybe say hello to Semie's daughter too. Arpsum, are you coming?

Desert Surfer, I moved your action report from Vegas to it's own topic in the "Off Topic" forum titled "Greetings from Vegas"

So I took my new Mosrite out for the gigs this weekend. Before the show on Saturday, forumite Fritz the Cat comes backstage to check out the guitar. He asks "Do you find your hi E breaks right at the ball end?" "No, never happened" I answer. Halfway into the first song and "POING!" there goes my hi E! Fortunately I had a backup guitar and a friend in another band put a new string on so I could finish out the set with the Mosrite. Then Sunday I made it through to the middle of the second set and "POING" I lost another hi E, also broken at the ball! I tried filing out the mounting assuming there's probably a barb or something that's cutting the strings, I guess I'll see.
Besides that, I'm pleased with the guitar. I still need to get the side markers on - I drew them on with a pencil for the gigs but that's not a long term solution! The sound is nice and twangy and the different pickup selections make a wide range of sounds, though I still need to get the pickups height adjusted for more balanced output.
