Brass Rail Plans on PDF

In preparation for my next guitar project, I created a set of plans for a Mosrite style Brass Rail. The plans actually came from a Gruggett version of a Brass Rail. Anyway, I've found that printing the pdf in “poster” mode (prints on 12- 8.5” x 11” sheets of paper) and scaling it to 172% seems to come out just about right. It'll get you in the ball-park anyway, but certainly don't use the fret marks or anything like that, they aren't intended to be that accurate.

I'm thankful too. This post also helped me realize the Brass Rail, Bluesbender and S.M. models all use the same body; the S.M. models aren't carved, though.

Can someone explain the term Brass Rail ?
I also notice the diagram has no zero fret.

The Brass Rail Guitar gets its name from the neck which has a square rod of brass in the middle of it. There's no truss rod and there are no fret slots in the rod, instead there are little notches for the fret tangs.

I have to correct myself here: the Blues Bender and Brass Rail do NOT necessarily use the exact same body although they're similar.

Brass Rail:
Uses Wenge wood;
Although I can't speak for all Brass Rails, mine has a slightly different body shape on the upper part by the neck (seems that it's like a Blues Bender that has part of the body cut off and smoothed over.)
