How can I tell if my tuners are from the 1960s?

Short of sending them to a laboratory for testing, is there a way to tell if the tuners which I got with my Ventures II (not the ones I have on it) are vintage?

If they are genuine Kluson tuners, from the mid 60's, they will have Kluson Deluxe stamped in 2 lines on the rear. People refer to them as Kluson double line tuners.

Thanks and Thanks. They are indeed 1960s tuners (D-169400 Patent No., "Kluson Deluxe" in two lines and plastic buttons.) I may not keep these, they may go on eBay.

Also I think these were used on Mosrite Celebrity IIIs, were they?

Yes. On Celebrity III's
I keep stock parts if I plan to sell or trade a guitar eventually.
Also, I keep an eye out for period correct stock parts when the owner before me didn't
Still have them?
I know this is an older post.

A little off topic, but in the link Danny posted, if you scroll down to the last two examples, if you have a tuner button that looks like these, if they are dipped into Superglue, and left to dry, ( Hang them, button down over a paper towel. ) the glue will seep into the cracks and save the button. It will turn white, but that's better than losing one.
