Mosrite-sized pickups that don't sound like Mosrite pickups?

Postby sumlin » Sun Dec 06, 2015 4:33 pm

Quick one for you - does anyone make a Mosrite sized (and styled) pickup (specifically the pole-piece-less pickups from a Mark V) that is a little less powerful and more in the P90 ballpark?

I may have the opportunity to purchase a MkV that's missing all it's hardware and it seems like a great opportunity to make a perfect Mosrite for myself - one that sounds exactly how I want it to but with the same neck profile and body shape I love.

Anyone?

We can hand wind you whatever ohms you like in covers with no pole pieces. We also have a variety of magnets for whatever tone you are after.

Awesome Bob - let's see if this Mark V works out and I'll be in touch. Is it sacrilege to admit that most of all I want a Univox HiFlier humbucker in a Mosrite case? I guess I'm barred from the forum now...
