1966 Ventures single PU bass
New member with a question. I've got a '66 Ventures bass with the single PU and a volume and tone control. The wiring is there, but not hooked together. I need help in knowing what wires go where. There's a white one coming from the bridge. There's a black one and a white one coming from the PU. These 3 wires are not attached to anything. The pots and jack are wired together. Can you tell me what goes where? Thanks.

The wire from the bridge is a ground connection to the strings. Solder it to the back of the pots. The black wire from the pickup should also solder to the back of the pots/ground.
The white from the pickup should be connected to the clockwise terminal of the volume pot. So looking at the back of the volume pot with the 3 terminals pointing down, the white should connect to the leftmost terminal. The output to the jack should be connected to the center terminal and the right terminal should be connected to ground.
