Its been a while now since I documented a build...
I've been commissioned on a lefty mosrite again from a nice guy from France. So here we goooo:

Le Carve

Managed to make some spun knobs..

Milling "Le Tremoloo" I have to make it myself now because it seems impossible to get in contact with Matt..

Filing/fitting/polishing..

This is where I am now.

Thanks for posting these. Do you build 8-string (Octave string) basses too? I'm thinking of building one.

Oigun,
As always, gorgeous work. Are you milling the aluminum with templates, CNC or freehand?

Partially cnc partially freehand and files/sandpaper/polishing wheel/drills whatever
I have build a cnc machine but I've decided not to use it on my woodwork. for engraving and making templates it comes in handy.

A couple of weeks ago I finished this one:

Redesigned "W" headstock hence my last name Wulff...

And here the fresh owner:

He wants a hardtail R&R machine. The pickups scared him a little
So I'm gonna wind him some humbuckers in the 'rite' cover.

Another superb Mosrite replica, with a simple, lightened design - unfortunately not lefty
Is it the same pickguard material as the one you will make for mine ?
A+!
