thanks, i plan to cut the headstock so the top is flat and then use a biscuit joint to add more material to cut the m into

Speaking of the Silvertone, That was made by Danelectro and it has a mostly hollow body. The man photographed (Dexter Romweber) played his Silvertone both heavily and calmly, IMHO...

I JUST FINISHED SOLDERING ALL OF THE PARTS TOGETHER!!!!!!
It looks like crap but it works.

Nice!!! That thing is punk as #@%*!!! I just started my own for all the same reasons.

HUGE UPDATE!!!!!!
I reshaped the headstock and painted the pick guard. I just assembled it and it looks and plays great. now all that's left to do is wait until spring and paint it a few more times.
