Hi everybody,

On my introduction thread, other posters and I found that we always thought of Mosrite as the Jaguar of guitars. I was on a photo-shoot of a Jaguar that I've been involved with, in the past. It is a 1980 SCCA national champion. I couldn't resist taking a few photos of my scratch-built Mosrite styled guitar. I would like to have used a real Mosrite, but, for artistic reasons, I chose to use the blue and white to match the car.

The body and neck are maple, the headstock is teak veneer, the knobs are also teak. The pick-ups are Eastwood. I was advised by other guitar players not to use maple for the body so I couldn't resist doing the opposite. I'm glad I did, because the guitar has a bright, jewel-like tone... which is good for playing surf tunes. lol

P.S. Still working on the wrecked '67 Mosrite Celebrity III, hope to get photos up soon.

Yep, cool. The two have more in common; E-type pickups, E-type Jag
