Question about bass tuners

I have a '66 Ventures bass that I bought in '89. It had the top tuners replaced with Grovers but I was lucky enough to score some Mosrite bass tuners from Angela Instruments. The tuners that I got from Angela have noticeably thinner (in depth, not width) duck feet on them. Is it possible these are repros or are they just from a different era?
