This has me inspired

Postby KRamone27 » Sat Jul 17, 2010 7:10 pm

I'm kinda having sellers remorse and thinking about building a clone. I'm thinking of building something like this.http://cgi.ebay.com/LOWEL-Mosrite-Guita ... 4aa2e51375

Uh-oh, what did you sell that you regret? As far as the build goes I say go for it. I would seriously love to learn how to build and have been debating learning or at least learning to do my own wiring and pickup swaps.

My 66 Mosrite body but if I do another build it's going to have humbuckers.

That's a cool body. Has kinda Gretsch Committee feel to it.

Yikes, looks like Aaron's feedback has dropped. Too bad, he made some really nice guitars and was super nice, I wonder what happened? I'm guessing life as a luthier wasn't quite paying the bills, it's really too bad. As for humbuckers in your next build I say go for it. I've been having lots of fun with the SM I got from Adam.

No big deal. Checking his feedback, he's only received one negative and it appears the reason was a dispute over shipping charges of $12 instead of the quoted $8.

Hi KRamone27, Isay go for it. Hard to tell what kind of wood they used on their build, kind of looks like walnut and maple. Sur would be a nice looking piece.

Hey, Kev ... I like that body. BTW, how did that speaker cab ever turn out? Did you ever get the speakers installed?

I'm awaiting funds to continue on with the cabinet. I would at least want to get speakers for it and hold off on the tolex and grill cloth.
