Nope. The pocket was really tight but there is only a little paint coming in the neckpocket so when I use 2k I dont bother.
When using nitro I tape it off for sure becaus it can cause problems later when removing the neck.
Ok, wood on wood for better tone etc.... that discutable

yesterday I plated the last parts. Unfortunately the nicckel platong on the unplated knobs will not work. Plating potmetal is a different process and I have to figure out the right steps..
I had to make some changes on the bridgeplate so I replated that. The surface rust is from the acid dip wich I didnt rine properly so I had to do that again.

The body is attached to the neck and I did some spit&polish

Polished up the tuners and reamed the bushings for a perfect fit.

Really cool...and the (darker) blue finish is absolutely gorgeous after all. The surface is so beautifully smooth...professional job man!

Today I finished the pickup. And corrected the headstock the tunerholes were not evenly spaced towards the edge. So I sanded 2mm of one side (otherwise it will haunt me) :D
Installed heightbar and drilled the holes in the ring.
Just for fun I put on every part the cerialnumber :D

We're proud of you oigun. If I had the money, I'd ask you to make a guitar for me, if you were willin' ;)
