Mel; you may have gotten the idea the bass is mine too...
Sorry to say it's not. A forumbuddie on the Dutch board where I 'met' Oigun liked the build Oi was doing for me so much he kinda 'commisioned' The GUNman to build him a bass-guitar.
But wouldn't that be great if the guy and I formed a band with matching lefty GUNs?
Maybe a lefty drummer?
I'm wondering if Oigun could build a drumset? Image

And we have only two duckfeet tuners So if anyone can halp us out???
OR tell me what kluson tuners semie used?

Mosrite bass bridges do not have rollers only a slot cut with the high sharp edge of the slot to the front side of the post. Also the slots are cut straight not 'v' shaped like a standard non roller bridge. The slot varies with the width of each string. I may be able to find photo's on a disc if you need it.

Danny that would be great! So a bridge is a doable part to manufacture myself!! I read in your thead that you used an aluminium U-profile for the bridge, is that strong enough?

Btw Danny provide me the exellent tracings for this project without that I was dancing in the dark :geek:

The saddles are made of brass nickle plated. Here's a pic I found on the net. I'll try to find something showing a little more detail.
