Zamm Inc Tremelo Spring

Postby Bushers » Thu Jul 31, 2008 2:45 pm

I bought a new spring to replace the original (as it clearly wasnt!) and the way the tremelo sits now seems a little high, has anyone here used one of these?

How high is the tremelo supposed to sit? Pics anyone?!

I probably have spent $100 buying springs trying to find the right one. I've bought them all from Zamm Inc. The last five I bought fit my setup perfectly. I use D'addario 10's and the tip of the vibrato arm sits 1 1/2 inches above the pickguard. He has both tall and short springs. If you got the taller spring, it is for heavy gauge strings. With 10's the arm will stick up about 3 inches which for me is unusable.

Yeh, I saw he had a couple of different versions and went for the one that didnt state 'for heavy gauge strings'. Looks like the one I have is that tall, I might get one of these from Ebay to try.
