Ok, I've got a locking Mosrite Roller bridge, I know that a lot of guys like to upgrade their old non locking roller bridge with a bridge that locks.
What I'm looking for is a non locking, or non roller bridge... If anyone out there wants to up grade let me know and we can do an even trade.
The bridge is NOS (new old stock), meaning it was never used.
Trade? Roller or non Roller Bridge...

Dennis, it's made in The U.S.A. - It's from when Semi was bulding guitars in Jonas Ridge.

Actually, that's not a roller bridge, as the saddle wheels don't roll. However, it makes a great base for Hallmark saddles:

So, what about the bridge don't you like?

Ahh, the infamous crooked saddles...
The bridge redesign in the '80s wasn't a bad idea, but the execution wasn't great. I do like the lockdown bar over the saddle screws, but I take issue with the threaded bridge height adjustment studs. Locking the bridge to the trem plate is a decent idea, but unfortunately the diameter of the threaded studs is noticeably smaller than the diameter of the wholes in the base plate, meaning that even if you lock down the bridge with a nut, it's still free to wobble and mess with intonation. The non-threaded studs, however, fit tight within their holes and don't allow for travel.

Well, I'm sitting here with the bridge in question in my hands and each of the saddles roll when I run my finger over them.

Interesting. The one that I had that looked just like it had saddles that didn't roll. Maybe you've got one of the lucky ones?
