a neck problem?

I can't bend the e&b strings after the 11 fret,there's no string vibration,they don't sound.
I raised 2 tuns the bridge but still the same?
what's wrong?
it's a brand new Ranger 65 dx.

I just checked the neck with a good friend of mine,he has a "good eye& good touch",and he said there's nothing wrong,and speaking about one of his old guitar-Eko Cobra-from the 60's,he said that the bridge are similar and the note up to the 12 & on frets are really thin and almost lost if you bend .
Do anybody knows ?
I have Jaguar&jazzmaster&stratocaster&dipinto galaxie 4,none of them has this problem.

If the neck rises up past the 12th fret, it can cause this problem. Check the neck with a straightedge, like a metal ruler and see if this is the case.

I 'll take the Mos. to a liuther,but the neck seems to be straight(also raising the bridge the problem exist),so I can't understand what's wrong,this is a kinda mistery!

back from the luthier,he said everything is ok,the string after the 12 fret does'nt sound so much 'couse the little distance from the bridge ,,the strings don't hit the frets at all ,you bend and it sound's half the volume,not bending it's ok.
he said go with thicker strings.
I have a similar guitar a Yamaha sgv 800,with the same neck lenght and string gauge but bigger frets ,you can do all the bending you want.
gonna be familiar to this kinda guitar.

hey brunob,

if you ever look at the strings when they vibrate, you'll see that the closer to the center of the neck, the more vibration there is. this is why when you strum the guitar closer to the neck the tone sounds fuller.
a lot of players like to have a slight back bow in the neck (luthiers call this relief) to compensation for the wider string vibration in the middle of the neck, particularly if they play hard. I don't know if this is the case with your guitar but it's something to think about. smaller frets will give you less sustain, so that could be a factor, or maybe there's a fret that's higher then the 12th fret that's it's muting the string slightly.
it's hard to know without looking at the guitar, but you might want to ask the luthier you work with to add a tiny more relief in the neck to see if there's an improvement.

Hi Aaron and thanx 4 the help,now I'm gonna change string gauge from 0.10 to 0.11,and will see if the "relief" comes by itself,yes little frets give you a less sustain than my others guitars do,the luthier said nothing to do with the neck and frets,when string depressed after 12 fret , you can put a paper between the frets and the strings,they are free.

after changin string gauge from 0.10 to 0.11:
more volume but the same issue,the e string doesn't vibrate as you bend it a little,a dull sound.just the e string the b string is ok. also I don't like the new feeling with the stock spring .
the luthier said it's ok,but not to me,I don't bend that much just a little (I play ONLY instrumental Ventures style) and I can do it with all my guitars,this has disappointed me 'couse I don't know how to fix the problem.
I contacted the shop in England they say all the others sound the same.....I can't believe it.
if I put the -e- string on the top of the bridge not into the slot it sounds!!

Mosrite Originally supplied 2 springs one for "9's" one for "10's". the fillmore co. supplies one.
The "11's" may drag the trem arm down too far.
About the fret problem, the pickup could be loosing volume when you bend the string past the screw(polepiece).
