Hi Ed!

As a machinist/woodworker type, I'm really interested in your aluminum casting process for the hardware.

Did you make the patterns or sub them out? Do you have your own cupola?

Best regards,

Mike

Shouldn't be too long now before we see a finished model. ;)

Hate to hijack the thread but yes it's been really hot where I am as well and My wife feels sorry for me because I work in the heat for 10+ hours a day. Just gotta drink gatorade and take some electrolyte tablets and stay cool.

Hey, Eddy! Did these guitars get shipped? Any pix of the completed effort. This has been a great learning experience - would love to see the finished product.

I have been compiling all the photo's and broken them down into segments covering each area of Ed's projects. So far I have fourteen different segments and once completed I will post them as a locked announcement topic that will remain at the top of the page for easy access. This is absolutely the greatest reference material for any one with the slightest interest in how a Mosrite guitar is built.

Maybe next we can get Ed to do a photo essay on building pickups. Hint, hint.

Ed - Thanks so much for for this great and informative history of Guitar making. It really shows just how much detail goes into a hand-made Guitar :!: Thanks for keeping the history alive and being willing to share it with all of us, God Bless - Billy Crawford :D
