Sadly the Safe-T-Planer was discontinued a while back. They come up on eBay every now and then.

I guess the company that made them has gone out of business. I would imagine that the Chinese will come up with a knock off if they haven't already made one.

i know the safe t but i haven t one :|
and since fews month they are not availlable ,by stew , wood worker ect....
if i can catch one on bay i will buy one for sure but they are rare
then i must do without
then to do i will use my japanese saw and made little cut all along the profil and after i will break this little mapple to rout it it on my router table
the angle of 2 ° will be made with my hand plane
more long of course   (and i really like hand tool in fact ,no noise ,less dust ,the risk of big mistake less important )
but i have time ;)

Wow, that was quick! Didn't we just ship those a few days ago??? :o
How dare you presume to inject, using reproducible facts and rational thought, an on-topic discussion into a thread that had degenerated from sarcasm, personal invective, and hand-waving arguments?

 yes the 20 they were at NY and yesterday at home :D normally is less than a week to be delivered from US at beaune ,more when i recept at my home in bourges (the more is far the more is quick)

With the heat it is not easy to work then i go to my cabinet maker to use his planer (600 mm  even body glued can be work) for neck fretboard seam ,rosewood fretboard at 7MM (it was a little bow hopefully it was near than 11 mm before) and the rest of the plank of my neck with i have a fretboard of 6mm
then i have finish the neck template too ,made some tracing to know where i must put the trussrod (i use double action) and i lost much hours cause i am searching inox screws to fix the neck and finish my neckplate but there is not any that i can use near my home (i think i will order them online  )

shape and cavity done (my bit doesn't cut well  )
Image
i put a quarter round of 9,5 mm on the back 6,3mm looks too small for me
Image
my bit is a 12,7 diameter not 12,7 radius :evil:then i must find one or i don't know how i will do ?
Image
if i haven't lost time to find one i can make other things :|
tomorrow i try to pick up one ;)

and i have look at the pups didn't fit in standard humbucker rout cause they are too long at the screws need 5 mm more or less more ;)

thanks ;)
the rest of the journey i have work on the neck
truss rod channel i will use a double action ; it is square rout of 6mm of larger and 9 mm of height (i like this one cause they are thin more than standard of 11mm of height with them i have 2mm more of wood behind the truss)
Image
contour with japanese saw to have less wood for the router Image
Image
 and i have a big scare my saw have devied on the last cut i have seen too late hopefully i have take some error place :? and the part who miss a little will be carved
:| with this little thing you can kill a neck
