Thanks for the kind words guys. Yes Dennis, the side jacks is going to be for future projects. Arron, I got some pickups in transit from Hallmark so when I get them all I have to do is put them in place get a perfect fit of the pick guard around the neck pickup, do a complete set up and rock out!!

Well guys, other than final sanding and finishing on the neck and installing fret markers on the fretboard I'm calling this one done. I got the pickups today and didn't waste any time putting those puppies in so I could play. I think it came out great.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I had a lot fun doing this as well as a lot stress because of it. I gotta say it's been a great journey and I can't wait to take the next one.

Well I thought I posted a response to how the pickups sound but I guess I didn't. I gotta say those single coil pickups blow my strats all equipped with humbuckers out of the water. I'm totally satisfied with the outcome and can't wait to start on the next one. The next one will just have a bridge pickup volume and tone and possibly a side jack. The bridge pickup was a little weak though so I might add a 1meg ohm pot as the volume. But other than that I love it.
