The Mosrite community is smaller than that of a general interest board like TalkBass, so there will be less posts regardless of the topic. Beyond that, I think the folks here in general reserve responses for when they've got something specific to contribute.
Personally, I have no idea how your pickguard came to have those markings/stains. I suppose I could have posted "I have no idea", or made some wild, uninformed guesses, but what would that have accomplished?
Sorry you're disappointed with the forum, but it is just the way it is.

Louie,
Mel is correct.....I/We (the Forum) will ALWAYS respond if we DEFINITELY know the 'right/wrong, yes/no,' etc answer to
a question, project, problem, idea etc. But sometimes there might be a delayed response to a post, due to some members
wanting to research for a more accurate answer before we respond

. Sometimes it takes time, sometimes longer

......
But I too would of responded with a "I have no clue," and nothing would of been accomplished

....Yes, we do SOME things
a little differently around here, but it is well worth the wait.....sorry for the delayed response to your original post........
