Hay Billywrecker, If by any chance you need to drill and tap some aluminum parts and pieces, there's some stuff out there called TAP MAGIC, good stuff, used it all the time in the trades. there different kinds, for different metals. You'll save money on drills and taps.

Good call Woodchuck...I was actually going to make my own bridge (out of aluminum),because I can't seem to find one with the right string spacing,so some tap magic just might help out,Thanks.

I just bought this roller bridge.

I figure I can use the roller saddles from it and make a housing with the correct spacing.

Well I'd like to get a set of ED Elliott pickups, that's the goal anyways. As far as colour goes I think I'm gonna go green maybe sparkle or metal flake.it's just gonna depend on how far I wanna go when the time comes to do it.

Re: New project
Here is some more progress, waiting on pickups to finish.

Here is my mistake plate!I should have made a jig and used my router to cut the slot for the string guide.I did not so I ended up cutting off the end of the fret board where the string guide goes and I used some pick guard material under the string guide and formed it to the neck, looks like it is supposed to be there. Hindsight is 20/20

I'll get better pictures when it's done.

Re: New project
Well I moved some pictures around in my photo bucket album and noticed the that the previous pictures I posted disappeared,so here they are again step by step all in one post.I don't feel like describing every thing I did in the build right now,but if you want to know how I did something just ask.
Thanks again for all the comments I appreciate it!
