Really nice work there!

I can't believe that you've never seen a Mosrite in person and are working only from photos. Where did you come up with the overall outline shape and size?

The only thing that looks "off" to me is the body depth. Yours looks a bit thicker than normal.

No I never have seen one in person. I bought a template set off of the Net but the German carve and dimensions are guess work and probably not righton by any means. I started with a set of two inch swamp ash blanks and planed them down to an inch and 3/4 and that is the present thickness. I didn't know that the start of the German carve started with a 1/2" cove routed out untill I found this web site. Would have saved me a LOT  of hand carving LOL. If someone here can point me in the right direction to the proper dimensions I would apprecite it. Its probably too late to alter the body thickness though due to the neck pocket rout etc. I appreciate the compliments :D

I think that Danny posted all of the dimensions for his 1966 somewhere here.

Nice work!
Swamp ash could keep the weight down too. You should definitely finish it to show off the wood grain. Another suggestion: Telecaster butterscotch blonde. There was a Mosrite Joe Maphis finished in butterscotch recently posted. Looked good.

I think with that sort of fretboard wood you should definitely have a fine sounding guitar. How are you going to approach fretting?
