hey that was my old double neck i traded artie for a blue 65 ventures model!!! i have to be honest, i never strung it up with all twelve strings, it always had only 6. the huge headstock seems out of place but its definitely a unique and cool guitar.

although i have to admit, i was happy when i got the double neck but i was like a kid in a candy store on my way home from bakersfield with a 65 ventures model. :D he brought my blue 65 down from the wall and after restringing it and playing it for 45 minutes, he realized i wasnt about to give it back to him... he was like "i guess you found the one you want to trade."

do you remember that artie??

That's too cool! I've always thought it made sense to double the strings on the octave neck--it'd sound more like a mandolin that way.
