I hate to be the one to tell you Saraha, but unfortunately your are wrong. That is the correct bridge for that particular model.

Really? Why would they use a non-roller bridge when it has a tremolo? I've only seen that bridge on non tremolo guitars, so far that is. Can you give more details?

It was the economy version and sometimes the bridge would later be changed out for the roller type.

Danny is absolutely correct, no roller bridges on Mark V / Ventures II models. That's a fact.

So, being serious for a moment. Did these guitars perform well using the tremolo with the economy bridge?

Think of all the guitars with trems without roller bridges - Strats, Gibsons, Gretsches - they seem to work OK, eh?

Since the bridge posts are not locked down as on the late 80s version, the bridge sorta had a rocking motion when depressing the vibrato arm. They are not great but not bad either. The roller version were more precise in helping to return to pitch after use. It was all part of the evolution of the various brdiges Semie used starting with the fixed version with flip mute.

yeah, I concur with Adam and Danny. the original slab body ventures II (the guitar Johnny Ramone use) also never had a roller bridge. the irony is the fillmore version lift out the tremolo option, but added the roller saddles, lol.
On the semie models Sarah, just think that the roller saddle was an upgrade from the basic package :D
