Info on "gingerbread' pickguards?

Postby gogoman » Sat Oct 15, 2011 11:29 am

Hello,

I'm planning to (eventually) do a Maphis Doubleneck.
But how ever much I search here and on the rest of the net I can't find much about how the Gingerbread decorations are precisely made.
Hope that someone can help me with this.

Also, I'd love to see some more pictures like the Customized Epiphone in Deke's thread here:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1694
I'd like to maybe try Gingerbreadifying a ES175 copy I have to practice.

Grtz

Terry is the master. Hopefully he will see this and respond.

I don't know about being "the master" but have made quite a few pickguards and sleeve guards with a lot of so called 'gingerbread'. If you have any questions you can email me: terry@tnmguitars.com -Terry
