Standel Guitar Spotting in Melbourne Australia!!!!

Hey Guys i was in the guitar emporium in melbourne when i looked up on the wall to see to my surprise a Standel Model 101 on the wall.
The guy didn't know anything about standel or mosrite or hallmark so i have him a quick History lesson
It was off white with the silver whispy pickguard.

GE is a great place and I scored my latest Mosrite there earlier this year. The guy who runs the place ( Darren) is a Mosrite fan so I'm assuming you didn't speak to him as he probably would have known what it was. Outside of Tym's it the best place in Australia for Mosrite spotting I'd say.

+1, Darren is a great bloke and knows his poop, I got my Mosrite from him. Have been buying and selling with him for 15ish years.

If the standel was for sale I would have bought it (if I had the cash)
I was there to check out a mij mosrite upgraded to a filtertron jr ... It sounded great but theguitar was a bit shabby and he was asking too much for a modded.
