Pickups?

Postby mikethemod1992 » Wed Aug 18, 2010 10:45 pm

Hello everybody,
I want to build my own Mosrite ventures copy but im a bit low on cash. I was wondering, (besides originals) what would be the best pickups to put into the project. If not that, at least what would fit.Im a bit new to Mosrite in terms of specs. Cheers everybody!

Ed Elliott's pickups are great. Also consider M3 California pickups - they make a cool split coil model that can be switched full Mosrite output to a more P-90ish level.

not exactly mosrite specs. But eastwood hiflyer pups are dirt cheap and will give you more or less the desired look

if you wanted to go real cheap, just get some generic p-90's, although it's not exact the same sound.
