Carbon fiber rods in neck?

Would it be possible to strengthen a Mosrite Ventures II (slab) neck with carbon fiber rods? Would they fit in there, the neck is very narrow and thin after all.

Carbon fiber rods are installed during construction. They need to be securely glued into a provided slot to provide the rigidity.

I think unless you use a bass or use very high gauged strings on an acoustic, carbon rods would be a bit overkill. some of the martin acoustics from the 80's have bad warping in the necks that could be fixed by adding carbon rods. But despite the thin necks on mosrites, there necks are usually straight as an arrow in my experience.
a main reason for using carbon rods in a bass neck is to prevent the wood from twisting opposed to front or back bow. twisting might be possible on a bass neck when adjusting the truss rod, but I don't run into this problem much for guitars, there's just not enough tension on the neck.
if you are concerned with the neck, sometimes using a two way adjustable truss rod is more preferable then the one way adjustable rods. I have had more issues with keeping les paul necks straight then any of my mosrites, because mahogany is a softer wood then maple, and if you have a 2 or more piece maple neck, you should be more then okay. just my two cents
